The key focus of the Osprey was to design a wing which is easy to handle. The oversized frame creates a stable platform and develops power especially when pumping minimising distortion. These aspect aids in forwarding motion and easy transition to flight on a foil.
The low aspect ratio and tucked in trailing edge wing tips keep the wing from touching the water and the scuff patches keep the wing protected when occasionally hitting the ground.
Multiple handles offer the perfect grip at any stance and all the handles are covered with a thick layer of soft Neoprene, offering a solid and comfortable grip. This is particularly important when the wing gets used for a long period at a time. The grip on the leading edge makes it easy to handle the wing when inverted on the water before launching. The Y Handle construction provides a perfect platform for every transition.
On the water, the Dihedral angel makes the wing stable in light and strong wind. The leading edge and strut geometry makes it the ultimate weapon for SUP riding or a lower volume hydrofoil board.
